Very Rare signature of the legendary Eric Shipton, on Title Page, and together with Ed Hillary’s autograph on his adjacent Bookplate, (with Letter of Authenticity from the Himalayan Trust), makes this a unique and highly collectable item. Shipton, Hillary and team climbed high on reconnaissance journey up Pumori and were first to confirm pathway of ascent through the Khumbu Icefall, up the Western Cwm and Lhotse Face to the South Col, now the standard route.
